PLEASE I NEED SOME OPINIONS ON MY SITUATION

Alright so I recently ran into sort of a problem. Im in love with my best friend. And im not really sure what to do. I don't know if I should try and get with her or just stay back as friends. I really don't want to screw up things between us. Shes too amazing of a person to lose a friendship with. I would be devistated if I lost her because of my own stupid decision. Im confuseddddd. I want to love her. I want us to be more than just friends. Im scared.
Please tell me your opinions. It would help me a lot.
