Last year at this time I lost the bravest man I knew.

Last year at this time I lost the bravest man I knew. That man was my Pa, a US Marine. November 26th 2019 around 0600 hours me and my Ma had gotten up to clean the house because my Pa was coming home on December 2nd. A car pulled into the driveway and two men in uniforms got out. It is hard to see a love one be called to duty and have them returned in a box with flag over it. I wish I could have said a lot more to my Pa. I wish I told him how proud of him I was. I wish he was here because I try to take good care of my Ma and brother. I try to stay strong. I don"t know how. Not a day goes by that don"t stop thing about what I could have done. Was I a good son and is my Pa proud of me. I knew his job was dangerous but I never thought I would lose him. I loved him very much and wish I could tell him in person. He was a good man, son, brother, husband, father, and friend. On November 25th 2019 the world lost a great Marine... my dad.
